KitchenAid Architect Series II (KFGS306VSS) Gas Cooktop with 5 burners (Center Front Burner 15000 Btu/h,Left Front Burner 9100 Btu/h ,Left Rear Burner 6000 Btu/h ,Right Front Burner 10000 Btu/h,Right Rear Burner 7000 Btu/h) provide the highest heat setting, and are ideal for cooking large quantities of food or liquid, using large pots and pans. The small burners, 6,000 and 7,000 Btu/h and the inner crown of the central burner allow more accurate simmer control at the lowest setting, and are ideal for cooking smaller quantities of food, using smaller pots and pans.

The KitchenAid KFGS306VSS 30" Gas Cooktop provides 5 Sealed Burners, Electronic Ignition and Infinite Position Control Knobs.
Re-Ignition Feature
During the cooking cycle, if one or more burners power off due to
external causes (such as water spillage, wind, distorted flame,
etc.), the ignition system will turn on to re-ignite the flame. When
the flame comes back on, the system will stop sparking.
Sparking may also occasionally occur when using the low setting
on a burner.
The KitchenAid KFGS306VSS cooktop is factory set for use with Natural gas. KitchenAid KFGS306VSS Cooktop can be converted to LP gas. Provide a gas supply line of ³⁄₄" (1.9 cm) rigid
pipe to the cooktop location. A smaller size pipe on longer runs may result in insufficient gas supply. Pipe-joint compounds that resist the action of LP gas must be used. Do not use TEFLON® tape. With LP gas, piping or tubing size can be ¹⁄₂" minimum.
Usually, LP gas suppliers determine the size and materials used in the system.
